ANTA SUITE

ROOM DESCRIPTION

This suite is in the main building of the unit with 300 years of history and recently rehabilitated. The Anta suite has a total area of 50m2, with an elegant entrance room with a sofa bed, microwave and refrigerator. This room has a king size bed, air conditioning and heating in the toilet. Anta suite had maintained the original architecture, and in the past was served as a barn to the friars of the “Convento da Orada” near of Horta da Coutada. The original low vaulted door, the niches carved in the stone walls and all the details that protrude from its wide walls, make this room a very special nook. The Anta suite has an equally unique bathroom and an entrance room with shale stone walls and amphorae embedded in a perfect allusion to the cultural elements of the region. The local handicrafts are still present in the traditional tapestries of Monsaraz with their lively colors. The "Anta" symbolizes the history of our region and conveys a positive energy of balance and well-being.
